Traditional Screen Printing

Traditional plastisol screen printing is a widely used method for apparel decoration. This technique excels in producing vibrant colors and durable prints, ensuring that designs hold up over time, even after numerous washes. One of the key advantages of plastisol printing is its affordability when ordering in bulk, making it a cost-effective option for businesses and organizations. Additionally, this printing method generally encounters minimal issues, allowing for efficient production and timely delivery.

Discharge and water based prints provide a “no-feel” print that is soft to the hand. However, they must be printed on 100% Cotton T-shirts.

Dye Sublimation Printing

Dye sublimation printing offers a multitude of benefits that make it an attractive choice for customized apparel and textiles. One of its standout features is the unparalleled detail it produces, resulting in images and designs that are vibrantly sharp and true to life. Additionally, the prints have a no-touch feel, seamlessly integrating with the fabric for a smooth finish that maintains the garment’s breathability, ensuring comfort for the wearer.

While dye sublimation is generally more expensive than traditional screen printing, it provides the advantage of no minimum order requirements or setup fees. This makes it a cost-effective option for smaller production runs, allowing for flexibility without compromising on quality. It is important to note that apparel must be made from 100% polyester and be light in color to achieve optimal results in dye sublimation.

Direct to Film Transfer Prints

Direct to film (DTF) printing offers numerous advantages that make it a compelling choice for custom apparel. Similar to dye sublimation, it requires no minimum order quantities or setup fees, allowing for greater flexibility and cost-effectiveness for small runs. This method delivers photo-quality prints, making it an excellent option for detailed designs and vibrant visuals.

DTF printing is compatible with a wide range of fabrics, including cotton, polyester, and blended tees, and it can print on garments of any color, expanding creative possibilities for designers.

While DTF printing is an innovative and versatile choice, it is important to note that its durability may not match that of traditional screen printing or dye sublimation. It is designed to withstand up to 50 washes, making it suitable for many applications, though users should be aware of its overall longevity. However, they remain ideal for AI created graphics and special events and occasions.
