Our geographical location in Naples, Florida provides us with numerous exciting opportunities to service our area with all embroidery needs.  We’ve done work for fine yachts, one of a kind cars, and five star restaurants and resorts in the area.  Last week, a client came in with a special request.  He’s completely restoring an anniversary edition Chevy Camaro.  He needed someone to provide spot on embroidery for what was to be the newly reupholstered seats, and he came to Sew Shore to get it done right.

The customer brought in a swatch of the original leather seat with the Camaro logo.  We then traced the embroidered image in pieces in Adobe Illustrator.  We used PMS colors to match the fill colors and had a completed vector file to submit for digitizing and clean edits.  Our production department took the vector image and plotted the stitches accordingly with Wilcom Digitizing software.  Digitizing is the sewing “map” of where and how each stitch, and color is placed.  The completed digitized file is then loaded into our embroidery machine where a test “sew out” of the file is embroidered.  If any revisions are needed, they are completed at that time.

We think the results were fantastic and our customer was thrilled with the results.  In fact, a few more restorations will be heading our way soon.  Be sure to look for those pictures and updates on either Facebook, Twitter, Google Plus, or Instagram.  Thanks for taking a moment to read and check out the picture below for a photo story of this project.

Have a great thanksgiving weekend!
